Interested in undergoing rhinoplasty but not exactly sure what you want to change? Check out what types of noses our favorite celebrities are requesting!

Celebrity Rhinoplasty Trend #1: Narrowed Bridge, Thinned Tip

A review of celebrity rhinoplasty before-and-after photos reveals a striking similarity among female starlets. In most of the "before" photos, the celebs bear noticeably thicker bridges. Some bridges are also affected by bumps or crooks that can be sculpted down to meet current Hollywood standards.

But what good is a narrow bridge if you have a bulbous tip marring the appearance of your new nose? To complement the thinner bridge, celebrity plastic surgeons refine the tip of the nose to perfect this new look.

Celeb Fans of Trend #1

Cosmetic nose surgery helped each of these pop stars rise to fame - and become common tabloid and blog fodder:

  • Ashlee Simpson
  • Fergie
  • Beyoncé

Celebrity Rhinoplasty Trend #2: Narrowed Bridge, Raised Tip

This look is similar to look #1 with one distinct difference: the tip of the nose is slightly upturned. Sleek and sophisticated, this rhinoplasty trend is perfect for those seeking a classy, elegant appearance.

Celeb Fans of Trend #2

Undergoing cosmetic surgery to narrow the bridge and raise the tip of the nose helped elevate these celebrities' status; today they are considered style and beauty icons:

  • Ivanka Trump
  • Nicole Kidman
  • Katie Holmes

Celebrity Rhinoplasty Trend #3: The "Naturally" Slimmer Nose

Fans of the natch nose claim that they didn't really want to undergo nose surgery - they had to for medical reasons. If you are undergoing rhinoplasty, but don't plan on making a dramatic change to your appearance, you can use the same excuse some of our fave celebrities use:

"I have a deviated septum. The nose surgery was required for medical reasons."

Judging from rhinoplasty "after" photos, I'd say the natch technique involves narrowing and straightening the bridge of the nose.

Celeb Fans of Trend #3

According to entertainment news reports, these ladies all underwent nose reshaping surgery to achieve the natch look in 2007:

  • Jennifer Aniston
  • Cameron Diaz
  • Ashley Tisdale

All-Around Celebrity Rhinoplasty Trend: Slim Bridges!

For anyone looking for a trend within these rhinoplasty trends, it's clear. Thin bridges are in!

Aashi, It sounds like you have a badly set broken nose. I advise looking into the Bollywood major film companies who may give advice on who does good work. Choosing a plastic surgeon is best by referral of others who can attest to that person's ability as the quality of the work is important! It is always better to pay for the best. Most plastic work is repair of inferior work as I do not know what a Indian dr has to do to call themselves a "plastic surgeon" beware unless you personally know or can document their prior work be very wary. WQe in the US have seen unqualified person performing substandard work ruining faces for money!

Hey Ashli, I have been searching for at least 6 years now for a great rhinoplasty surgeon. Here are something you MUST look for. #1 Make sure they are an ENT Surgeon, NOT just a plastic or cosmetic surgeon. EXPERIENCE LEVEL- Look at the exact time they have been practicing, 10 years min. for me. It's best if they ONLY do noses or faces, not the whole body (a specialist). Try to estimate how many rhino's they do in a year. You don't wanna go to someone that only does a few a month. Hope this helps. This is your MOST valuable questions to ask. If it is a NEgative with the doctor you are seeing, DO NOT GO TO THEM (PERIOD). No matter What!!!

Hi, I had rhinoplasty and also revision rhinoplasty as I had a deviated septum and found it difficult to breathe. However now after the second operation, what I can only describe as a dent in the the centre of my nose and a raised bone as if the centre has collapsed. I met my surgeon and he was not too sympathetic saying that only shadows catch it and that it only be me that noticed it but in photos once again,I shy away from due to this awful dent. please any advice would be so good.

In response to Ann's message: I would see another surgeon other than the one that performed the botched up one. I also had rhinoplasty (because of a broken nose) and was not happy with the results. I had a large bump on the right side of my nose and the tip of my nose started to droop! It looked horrible. So I expressed my concerns with my surgeon and he too was not sympathetic and just wouldn't admit that there was anything wrong with my nose. He said if I did anything else it would affect my breathing. So I was pretty much stuck with his mistakes. After thinking about it, I was not about to let him perform surgery on my nose again when he messed it up in the first place. I then saw Dr. Thomas Romo in NYC who does revision rhinoplasty and got a second surgery. He admitted that he had to do a lot of work to "fix" my previous surgeon's "mistakes" but I am much happier with the results. My advice is if you're not happy with your rhinoplasty and the original surgeon is not willing to address your concerns then get a 2nd or 3rd or even 4th opinion. I've learned that some surgeons have too much pride and won't admit to making mistakes. I'm not talking about tweaking your nose to extremes like Michael Jackson has done but sometimes unfortunately a surgery doesn't go the way you want it to the first time or with a certain surgeon. This surgery takes talent and I do not believe all surgeons have the talent to perform this surgery.
P.S. - I also agree with Jen's advice.

Hi Ann, I agree with Anne and Jen. If you are in LA, see Dr. Torkian. ENT, Facial Plastic, Mostly noses, Only faces. If you are not in LA, write him an email with some pics and he will tell you what he can do for you.
