Victoria Beckham recently told Vogue UK that she had her breast implants removed so that she could return to a more natural figure. The procedure could scarcely have gone unnoticed, since the former poster girl for anorexia was carrying around DD breasts on a body that started with a pair of A's.

The former Posh Spice of the Spice Girls, now involved in the fashion industry and wife of soccer star David Beckham, has also abandoned big hairdos, extravagant manicures, and the orange-tone spray-on skin color that was supposed to look like a tan.

Former Spice Girl Says She Wants to Be Taken Seriously

Beckham said the changes are fueled by a desire to be taken seriously in the fashion industry. The return to a lower-maintenance body may also be related to the announcement by the Beckhams that they are expecting a fourth child.

In her autobiography, Beckham admitted that she once had an eating disorder. Today, she's added a couple of pounds, but it was never a secret that her breasts - first enlarged to a D, and then to a DD - were way out of proportion to the rest of her figure.

A Beckham spokesperson said, "Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old image - the big hair, big boobs, fake tan - and that she has moved on since those days."
