Neck Lift Cost and Financing
Because of the variety of procedures that may be encompassed by a neck lift, the cost can vary widely. Also, costs for the exact same procedure can differ from surgeon to surgeon, though cost may not necessarily be the best indication of a doctor’s skill. Neck lift prices usually range from $3,000 to $8,000, though they can be higher. Financing, either through an independent company or the doctor’s office, is available for many patients.
Neck Lift Cost
The cost of this surgery varies by many factors, mainly the type of procedures needed for the patient to achieve the desired result. Neck lift techniques may include liposuction, the removal of excess skin, and/or the tightening of underlying neck muscles.
- Liposuction: Patients who are unhappy with excess fat in the neck or under the chin, but still have good elasticity of the skin, may be good candidates for liposuction alone. Liposuction of the chin and neck could cost anywhere from $1,000 to $4,000, depending on the amount of fat removal and the liposuction technique.
- Cervicoplasty: A cervicoplasty is the procedure in which excess skin is removed from the neck area. The skin is then re-draped over the neck to produce a taut, smooth appearance. A cervicoplasty alone will be at the lower end of neck lift price, usually in the $3,000 to $5,000 range.
- Platysmaplasty: In the platysmaplasty procedure, the muscles of the neck are addressed to produce a more youthful appearance. A portion of the neck muscles may be removed, and the neck muscles will be tightened to result in a more contoured and refined neck. The combination of the cervicoplasty and platysmaplasty procedures will be priced at the higher end of the scale, usually in the $6,000 to $8,000.
Undergoing multiple procedures at one time typically reduces the overall price of surgery.
In addition, some doctors have more experience than others and may charge more, or their practice may be located in a more expensive area. Neck lift prices on average cost around $6,000.
Neck Lift Financing
There are many options available to help patients finance their surgery, from independent companies that specifically design loans for cosmetic surgery patients to payment plans arranged directly through doctors’ offices. The staff of a reputable surgeon should be able to inform potential neck lift candidates of their financing options and walk through the stages of applying for financing with them. Since financing options vary almost as much as actual neck lift prices, it is important to explore the possibilities with a knowledgeable professional.
In addition to plastic surgery financing, most cosmetic surgery practice's accept major credit cards, personal checks, and cash for payment. Talk to your surgeon and his or her staff to find out which methods of payment are offered.
