Why did I have Lasik? The discrepancy between my eyes was so great, it was causing balance problems. I had Lasik in one eye and it worked! Dr. Papale is the best in the area. His credentials are impeccable. He never tried to convince me to go through with it, and was very careful at explaining potential problems. From the moment I entered the office, to the moment I left, I was treated courteously, competently, and with great respect. Now I can walk down the street without reeling from side to side and I am able to do things I could never have done before the surgery. I recently bought a sea kayak! Something I never dreamed I could do. My overall health is better. I highly recommend Lasik surgery. The risk is minimal and the recovery time is very short.
