Faulkner is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in Hawaii, and along with the entire Aloha Laser Vision team he has helped many Hawaii patients achieve corrected vision and reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses and contact lenses.

Alan R. Faulkner, M.D.

Alan R. Faulkner, M.D. grew up in Honolulu from the age of eight. He is a graduate of Punahou School and attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, graduating in 1986. While in medical school he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national Medical School Honors Society.

Gerald D. Faulkner, M.D.

Gerald D. Faulkner, M.D. was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama for his undergraduate and medical school training. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Navy, completing his internship in Jacksonville, Florida and his Ophthalmology residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. In 1964 he moved to Honolulu and entered private practice.
