About Our Cosmetic Dermatology Practice

The Varicosis, Cosmetic and Laser Center was founded by Dr. Timothy Parish in 1995 as Alabama's premier center for the treatment of varicose, spider and facial veins. Dr. Parish pioneered many innovative treatments in Alabama such as Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), Ultrasound Mapping of veins, Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy, Ambulatory Phlebectomy, and Transillumination Sclerotherapy. Before the Varicosis, Cosmetic and Laser Center opened its doors, the only solution for painful varicose veins was traditional stripping operations or to simply do nothing to eliminate the pain and appearance of unsightly veins. Dr. Parish takes great pride in personally consulting his patients and performing all ultrasound testing and treatment himself. Dr. Parish is one of a few physicians to obtain certification as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). Dr. Parish performs all venous ultrasounds and procedures himself for optimum continuity in excellence in patient care from start to finish. Quality and experience are the cornerstones of the success of the Varicosis, Cosmetic and Laser Center. The Varicosis, Cosmetic and Laser Center is nationally accredited by AAAHC (Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care). Our accreditation gives you that extra measure of confidence you want in your health care services. Dr. Parish has treated over 15,000 patients since 1995 making the Varicosis, Cosmetic and Laser Center one of the most experienced accredited vein centers in the country.
