Located in Brier Creek, North Carolina Dermatology Associates offers comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services for the Raleigh area. Under the direction of board certified dermatologist, Dr. Vikas Patel, NCDA provides the highest quality of customized skin care for patients. Locally trained at Duke University, this Raleigh dermatologist offers the latest skincare techniques in a state-of-the-art office.

We specialize in medical and surgical dermatology including skin cancer removal, mole screenings, psoriasis, acne, wart removal, skin growths, rosacea, nail conditions, hair and all other skin issues.

North Carolina Dermatology Associates also offers cosmetic dermatology procedures including laser hair removal, Botox®, Restylane®, Juvéderm®, Perlane®, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Photorejuvenation, Photodynamic Therapy, Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL), laser surgery, facial veins, age spot removal and spider vein treatments.

Doctor

Dr. Vikas Patel was born in Canada where he spent the first six years of his life. The remainder of his childhood was spent in the South including North Carolina, Georgia and Arkansas. He graduated from Duke University with honors (Magna Cum Laude) with a degree in Biology and Religion and a minor in Chemistry. He also attended medical school at Duke University. Dr. Patel did his internship in Internal Medicine in San Francisco and returned to Durham, NC to do his residency in Dermatology at Duke University. After completing residency, Dr. Patel practiced in Washington DC and its suburbs of Sterling, Virginia.
