The day of surgery I was even more anxious, but I liked that the staff made me feel calm and Dr. Siems talked to me through the entire procedure. The aftercare was easy to understand and I knew if I had questions I could call at anytime. I’m incredibly pleased with my vision. After wearing glasses and contacts since I was 9, it is very nice to wake up and not have to put in contacts, or to be able to work long days without discomfort. "“Dr. Siems performed an Intacs procedure on my right eye. Unfortunately the procedure had to be done to solve the eye disease keratoconus that I had in both eyes. After performing the Intacs procedure my vision has improved greatly. The Intacs procedure was a life saver for me.New to the eye disease soon after my surgery I had to have a corneal transplant. Dr. Siems once again came through! As of today, April 30, 2010, my vision is great.
