Dr. Khodabakhsh takes a personalized approach to vision treatment. Prior to every procedure, he sits down with the patient and discusses in detail the nature of his or her vision impairment and what options are available for treatment. During this discussion, the two of them decide on a course of action, allowing the patient to stay completely informed, and confident, in the treatment that has been outlined. Dr. Khodabakhsh has performed thousands of successful eye surgeries.  After completing his residency at New York Medical College, he joined the faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. He is board certified in ophthalmology and currently lectures nationally and internationally on anterior segment disease and surgery. He has trained dozens of doctors in the techniques of small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma. He is published in numerous, major ophthalmic journals including Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Cornea.
