Dr. Boxer Wachler was the Director of the UCLA Laser Refractive Center at the Jules Stein Eye Institute for many years and is still on staff there at UCLA. He is also on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

As well as being Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance (CRSQA) distinguished Dr. Boxer Wachler as one of the few certified Refractive Surgeons in the United States
