About the Practice
Jacqueline Deneen Griffiths, M.D., Medical Director of NewView Laser Eye has been exposed to laser surgery practically from its inception in the country. Dr. Griffiths is certified in both PRK and LASIK on the Summit,VISX and LADARVISION machines. Her LASIK training was obtained under Drs. Casebeer and Slade, pioneers in the field refractive surgery. Dr. Griffiths has performed thousands of LASIK procedures on Washington, DC area patients. In addition she also performs no-stitch cataract surgery and laser surgery for glaucoma and diabetes.

Dr. Griffiths served as the Chief of Ophthalmology at Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia and presently on staff at Reston Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Member of the Virginia Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Washington National Eye Center and other professional organizations.
