The Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine
About Our Infertility Practice
Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Richard Marrs, MD, is internationally recognized for his contributions to the development of the field of IVF assisted reproductive therapy. Dr. Marrs conducted research at the University of Southern California where he developed one of the United States first in vitro fertilization programs, which aided in the conception of the nation's second IVF baby. Dr. Marrs is also responsible for the first successful pregnancy involving a frozen embryo.
Today, Dr. Marrs has authored more than 200 academic papers and books, is an active board member of various medical and scientific organizations, and has received many prestigious honors and awards for his work in the field. In addition to being a managing partner at one of the world's most prominent fertility institutes in Los Angeles, Dr. Marrs works with Dr. David Richards at the Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine providing IVF care to patients in Utah.
Unlike other fertility centers that employ numerous doctors who perform the IVF procedure, patients of the Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine can be assured that both Dr. Richards and Dr. Marrs will personally perform their IVF treatment. Together, Dr. Richards and Dr. Marrs have helped thousands of couples achieve their dream of becoming parents. Contact the Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine if you and your partner are having trouble getting pregnant - IVF can increase your chances of success.
