Minneapolis facelift surgeon Edward Szachowicz attended Northwestern University, where he was on the Dean's list and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago; while there, he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Upon graduating from medical school with honors, Dr. Szachowicz completed a surgical internship, followed by an otolaryngology, head, and neck surgical residency, both at University of Minnesota Hospitals. He then went on to earn his PhD from the University of Minnesota Graduate School of Medicine. After completing a fellowship in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Szachowicz opened his private practice.

Dr. Szachowicz's 20 years of clinical experience performing facial plastic surgery procedures, combined with his academic credentials have helped him to gain a reputation as one of the best facial plastic surgeons in the country.
