The Winnetka location of Whole Beauty Institute is in the heart of the North Shore, and extremely convenient to the suburbs of Kenilworth, Wilmette, Evanston, Glencoe, Northfield, Glenview, Northbrook, Highland Park, and Lake Forest. In addition to serving domestic patients, we also see many international patients from all over the world. Whole Beauty Institute was founded by Chicago plastic surgeon John Q. Cook, a native of Chicago (the Old Town area). He received his undergraduate education at Yale University, and his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Cook completed his general surgery residency at Rush Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He also obtained a Master's Degree in Surgical Research from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a faculty member and Assistant Professor at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, having been deeply involved with educating medical students and surgical residents. He's also a faculty member of the Residency Program in Plastic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. In addition to being board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Cook is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery. His educational and professional credentials make him one of the finest leaders in his field.
