Thomas Campen, MD - Board Certified Ophthalmologist
At LasikPlus vision centers in the Charlotte area, patients benefit from the experience and skill of Dr. Thomas Campen, a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK surgery.
Dr. Thomas Campen has performed more than 20,000 refractive procedures. After completing a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the Louisiana State University Medical Center with Dr. Herbert Kaufman, he served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at that institution where he participated in the training of other surgeons. He has since specialized in refractive surgery and has served as medical director of several LASIK centers across the country. Dr. Thomas Campen is certified to use Bausch & Lomb, Intralase, Nidek, and VISX laser platforms that enable him to find the best fit for each patient’s unique corrective surgery.
