Dr. Sharpe has performed more than 43,000 LASIK procedures, and was named a VISX Star Surgeon in 1999, an honor bestowed on the top 5 percent of refractive surgeons in the country. He has performed the procedure on more than 200 doctors, numerous professional athletes, friends and family, and has authored numerous articles in Ophthalmology journals. Dr. Sharpe is certified to use VISX, Bausch & Lomb, Intralase, Wavelight, and Alcon laser platforms that enable him to find the best fit for each patient’s unique corrective surgery.

Dr. Awad has helped the Minnesota LasikPlus team perform more than 100,000 LASIK procedures. He is fellowship trained in Cornea/External Diseases, Anterior Segment, and Refractive Surgery from the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Awad has had articles published in medical publications and has received many academic awards. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
