Patricia W. Smith, MD – Board Certified Ophthalmologist
At LasikPlus vision centers in the Raleigh area, patients benefit from the experience and skill of Dr. Patricia W. Smith, a board-certified ophthalmologist and Johns Hopkins-trained cornea surgeon specializing in LASIK surgery.
Dr. Smith has performed over 4,000 refractive procedures as well as over 8,000 cataract procedures. In addition to being an experienced LASIK surgeon, Dr. Smith has served as ophthalmologist for the North Carolina State Wolfpack and the Carolina Hurricanes, and has numerous lectures and publications to her credit. Dr. Smith is certified to use Alcon, Intralase, Nidek, VISX, and Wavelight laser platforms that enable her to find the best fit for each patient’s unique corrective surgery.
