Damon Pettinelli, MD - Board Certified Ophthalmologist
At LasikPlus vision centers in the Westbury area, patients benefit from the experience and skill of Dr. Damon Pettinelli, a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK surgery.
Dr. Pettinelli has performed more than 5,000 LASIK procedures, in addition to having laser vision correction performed on him. He is fellowship trained in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from the world-renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He later served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The NYU School of Medicine and Instructor in Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins, where the doctors he instructed in eye surgery voted him their 2005-2006 Teacher of the Year. The Long Island Press has selected him Best of Long Island in Eye Care two years running for 2008 and 2009. Dr. Pettinelli is certified to use Alcon, Bausch & Lomb Technolas and Zyoptix, Intralase, and VISX laser platforms that enable him to find the best fit for each patient’s unique corrective surgery.
