Celebrities that Have Let Themselves Go
Getting old has its disadvantages. When we are young, the body is more resilient and a lack of sleep, poor eating habits, average amounts of exercise, and alcohol may not have a major affect on our health and appearance. Unfortunately, this changes after a person hits their 40s; men and women have to pay closer attention to their eating, exercise, and sleeping habits as they age. Here, we take a look at what happens when celebrities completely let themselves go.
Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock were one of the hottest couples on the planet in the 1980s. Now, their marriage is over, and they have lost their sexy physiques. Seagal may have quit martial arts, but he's still fiercely passionate about his devotion to the KFC value menu.
Kelly LeBrock (from the 80s film Weird Science) has really let herself go. She told TMZ last year, “I have many shocking things to say about Mr. Seagal, which will be known soon when my book comes out.” What? That he likes to eat frozen burritos and hot dogs as much as you do? We knew that already.
The worst part about Edward Furlong letting himself go is that he was actually talented. He killed it as John Conner in Terminator 2, and as Daniel Vinyard in American History X. Will Edward Furlong ever make a comeback?
Looks like being a stay-at-home dad has been going really well for K-Fed. Alimony checks usually mean spin class in the morning, yoga in the afternoon, then cocktails with all the other "real husbands" after 3pm. Looks like K-Fed skipped all that new age, workout baloney and went straight to Hooters. Sweet life.
The stars of the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air have stayed pretty svelte over the years. Will Smith has been putting in the hours at the gym and still looks good; Alfonso Ribeiro, on the other hand, hasn't. "Carlton" has been lifting more doughnuts than weight since Fresh Prince went off the air.
Artie Lange is one of Howard Stern's long time cronies. When he was on The Howard Stern Show, he dealt with having his weight talked about on live radio everyday.
Mike Tyson used to eat any boxer alive with his ferocious and intimidating boxing style. He even earned the nickname "Iron Mike." Tyson now spends his time packing on the pounds, Foreman style, and gets harassed by PETA for his new pigeon racing show on Animal Planet.
Cary Elwes used to be the knight in shining armor for every girl who was born in the early 80s, thanks to The Princess Bride. Every girls' heart would race when they heard him shout "As you wish," while tumbling down a huge grass hill. His accent may work for him today, but his physique and overdone plastic surgery? Not so much.
Getting kicked off of a plane for being overweight would normally make someone feel humiliated. Instead of getting embarrassed, Kevin Smith lashed out with a Twitter tirade against the airline, bringing more attention to the situation.
Jeremy London was a star in the 90s film classic Mallrats, and on the TV show Party of Five. London experienced troubles with substance abuse in recent years, and even sought help for his prescription drug addictionon on season 4 of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
