Demi Moore rose to fame in the mid-1980s after playing the hard-partying role of Jules in the movie St. Elmo's Fire. The actress has since appeared in dozens of film roles, and is one of the most well known movie stars in the United States. Because of her fame, the public is constantly interested in what is going on in Moore's personal life, whether it is her love life, her children, or the way she looks. Many people have speculated that Moore has undergone the knife several times. In fact, numerous media reports have attempted to break down the beauty treatments that the actress has undergone. However, the actress says that allegations she has undergone cosmetic surgery are "completely false."
After Moore appeared in the 1996 film Striptease, it seemed pretty obvious to audience members that the actress had undergone breast augmentation surgery; her breasts were noticeably larger in the film. Moore reportedly had the implants removed within a couple of years and underwent a subsequent breast lift. When Moore appeared in the 2003 movie Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, the breast augmentation rumor mill started all over again, and experts speculated that Moore had small implants placed prior to acting in the film.
In addition to breast augmentation, Moore is rumored to have undergone liposuction on her stomach, thighs, hips, and knees. However, the actress attributes her figure to a healthy diet and rigorous exercise regime. While Moore may have used liposuction to assist in getting rid of excess body fat, patients that undergo the surgery must work hard to maintain the results of treatment.
Plastic surgeons speculate that Moore underwent browlift surgery in the early 2000s, just prior to her film debut in Charlie's Angels, after a several year absence in Hollywood. She is also rumored to have undergone eyelid surgery to treat facial lines and skin laxity. If Moore has not undergone facial surgery, experts say she likely uses BOTOX® injections and soft tissue fillers to keep her face wrinkle-free.
Moore is also rumored to regularly undergo non-surgical cosmetic treatments on a regular basis. The UK's Daily Mail reported that the movie star spends $150,000 a year on Thermage® skin tightening treatments. Thermage® is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that utilizes radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and make the skin appear tighter and smoother. At about $3,000 per treatment, that would mean that Moore undergoes almost weekly Thermage® treatments to keep her skin looking fresh and young. Considering that Moore earns millions of dollars each year, she could certainly afford these beauty treatments.
